  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 30-14 : 30)\n
  • Weekend / On-Call : Every other weekend; on-call coverage with 30-minute response time\n
  • Orientation : Weekly, starting Mondays\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910\n

    • \n\nPACU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Current and active RN license eligible for New Mexico (New Mexico nursing jobs)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience\n
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be current at submission)\n
  • Fingerprinting and background check required (per New Mexico healthcare regulations)\n
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills\n
  • Compliance with perioperative nursing dress code and safety standards\n

  • Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to adult and pediatric patients (including monthly ENT procedures)\n
  • Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and pain management after surgeries such as appendectomy and gallbladder removal\n
  • Collaborate with surgical and preoperative teams for seamless patient transitions\n
  • Respond promptly to on-call notifications and provide timely patient care\n
  • Accurately document patient care using CQI and Medhost EHR systems\n
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility protocols and New Mexico state regulations\n
