Plant Superintendent – Winchester, KY

Salary : $119,760 – $134,000 + up to 25% bonus

Overview :

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Plant Superintendent oversees daily manufacturing operations in a 24 / 7 plastics facility. This role is accountable for safety, quality, production efficiency, cost control, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and enforce all safety and environmental compliance programs (OSHA, EPA).
• Drive operational excellence in productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and mentor employees; promote a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demands while minimizing costs and inventory.
• Support continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting, capital projects, and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality checks, and audit requirements.

Environment :

Fast-paced production setting with exposure to mechanical equipment, varying temperatures, and high noise levels. PPE required.
