JOB TITLE: Marketing Graphic Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media including print, digital, social media, and motion graphics. The ideal candidate is able to define the design requirements, visualize and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos. His/her graphics should capture the attention of our target audience and communicate the right message. Candidate needs to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

Job RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand design briefs and determine requirements.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Develop creative, logos and other designs using Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Work with Senior Designer/Creative Manager to produce final design.
• Anticipate and solve creative problems and production timeline issues.
• Create graphics across various media.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on brand.
• Stay current with design trends and advertising styles.
• Manage time and workload through project management software.
• Misc. duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field preferred.
• Four (4) or more years graphic design experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Physical or digital portfolio required.
• Must have expert level of expertise in InDesign.
• Must have an advanced level of expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience with motion graphics and After Effects preferred.
• Must have a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet all deadlines.
• Previous experience in a luxury Gaming, Hospitality and/or fast-paced environment is desired.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal forms.
• Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Must be able to perform in a team environment.
• Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadership.
• A professional demeanor and attire are to be maintained at all times.
• Must have exceptional time management skills.
• An intermediate to proficient understanding of office software such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred.
• Knowledge of photography a plus.
• Knowledge of Workamajig project management software a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
