Environmental Services Technician

Location : Senior Living Facility

Schedule : Thursday to Monday, 11 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM

Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at a senior living facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and sanitation, a strong work ethic, and a passion for working in a healthcare or senior living setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
• Handle waste management, including sorting and disposing of trash, recycling, and biohazardous materials according to facility guidelines.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests and address spills or other safety hazards.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned according to schedule.
• Maintain a friendly and respectful attitude towards residents and staff, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
