As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site - Full Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the financial institution.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
  • Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when incidents arise at the location.
  • Remain alert to potential threats and communicate any concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
