Hearing Specialist Position - Assessment Role

We are seeking a licensed Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The selected candidate will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in a computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran's benefits.

Audiologists will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices.

This position involves reviewing and assessing 3-6 Veterans per day on average, with a part-time schedule of 2 days / week.

The ideal candidate will have an Au.D degree from an ASHA accredited school, a current license as an Audiologist, and excellent communication skills.
