We are looking for a Technical Consultant to use their delivery and technology expertise for client implementations of Staffbase. You have worked for several years as a technical consultant, implementation specialist, or developer. This role focuses on ensuring new and existing Staffbase customers have an outstanding technical experience adopting the Staffbase platform. Your job is to see the world from the customers' eyes and ensure they can use the Staffbase platform to its best to manage their content and comms processes.
Important : This is a hybrid role. Core in-office days in our Minneapolis office are Tuesdays-Thursdays, and it is expected that folks will be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week during core days.
What you'll be doing
As a Technical Consultant (TC), you'll partner closely with enterprise customers and internal teams to deliver high-impact technical implementations of our employee communication platform. You'll be responsible for designing secure, scalable, and integrated solutions tailored to customer environments
Lead technical discovery sessions with key stakeholders to assess infrastructure, security, and integration needs
Develop and own technical rollout and deployment plans, ensuring platform configuration aligns with business goals
Advise on integrations with tools such as Microsoft, SAP, Workday, Okta, ADP, and other systems
Provide hands-on support and thought partnership around API usage, SDK customization, identity management, and data governance
Collaborate with Technical Specialists to customize platform UI and CI to meet branding requirements
Facilitate technical workshops and translate complex requirements into implementation plans
Ensure secure configuration of Staffbase environments in alignment with compliance standards and organizational policies
Troubleshoot and remove technical blockers, supporting a successful organization-wide rollout
Present technical roadmaps and platform capabilities to diverse audiences including developers, architects, and business leaders
Own technical workstreams and project milestones from planning through launch
Document technical solutions, best practices, and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to champion the voice of the customer
What you need to be successful
1-2 years of experience in technical consulting, implementation, development, or solution architecture—ideally in enterprise SaaS environments
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to go deep with technical stakeholders or simplify concepts for non-technical audiences
Strong presentation and facilitation skills for technical and business discussions
Hands-on experience with web development (HTML / CSS, JavaScript, Java, PHP, or NodeJS)
Confidence using command-line tools or parsing application logs for debugging integrations
Proven experience managing and delivering technical projects across enterprise organizations
Familiarity with identity management systems (e.g., SSO, AD), and enterprise integrations (e.g., SAP, Workday)
Knowledge of security and compliance standards in SaaS environments is a plus
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Success, and Systems Integrators
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple technical work streams under tight timelines
