Among other investments, EAH has recently completed a significant facility expansion at its primary distribution center and is in the process of implementing enterprise-level ERP / WMS / OMS systems.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technical Operations team. This role is ideal for IT professionals with hands-on experience who are ready to step into engineering and architecture responsibilities. The right candidate thrives on learning, enjoys solving problems, and approaches challenges with persistence and a can-do attitude. You may not always know the answer right away, but you are driven to find it.

In this role, you'll design, implement, and optimize solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. You will work with AWS Azure Google Cloud VMware , and enterprise infrastructure platforms to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient operations. Beyond day-to-day administration, you will drive automation, support cloud migrations, and contribute to the modernization of our technology stack.

This role is based at our Enthusiast Auto Holdings (EAH) Headquarters in Wadsworth, Ohio, supporting multiple banners across our portfolio. This position requires being onsite five days a week

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Develop scalable, resilient, and secure solutions to support business growth.
• Lead infrastructure projects including migrations, consolidations, and new deployments.
• Build automation pipelines for provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance using PowerShell, Python, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Streamline system deployments, patching, and compliance.
• Continuously evaluate emerging tools and practices to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Oversee enterprise servers, virtualization (VMware), backup / recovery (Veeam), and endpoint management.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning using Zabbix, NinjaOne, Cloudflare, and cloud-native services.
• Manage identity and access across hybrid environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace).
• Partner with the security team to harden infrastructure, enforce best practices, and support audits.
• Implement disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup strategies across multiple platforms.
• Maintain compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards.
• Serve as a technical resource for cross-functional teams and mentor junior administrators.
• Partner with leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives.
• Document standards, best practices, and architectural designs to support scaling and knowledge-sharing.
