OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
The eCommerce Manager will own the strategy, performance, and execution of our client's direct-to-consumer (DTC) website and digital retail channels. This role requires a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of eCommerce operations, digital merchandising, customer experience optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Site Strategy & Optimization
- Own and manage website and associated eCommerce platforms.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive site traffic, conversion, AOV, and revenue growth.
- Oversee the website merchandising strategy, promotions calendar, and product launch rollouts.
- Work with UX / UI and dev partners to optimize site functionality and customer journey.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
Partner with agencies on paid media, SEO / SEM, and affiliate efforts to support acquisition and retention.Leverage analytics tools (e.g., GA4, BigCommerce, heatmaps) to measure performance, derive insights, and recommend enhancements.Track KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, ROAS, CAC, and CLTV.Product & Content Management
Oversee product content, pricing, availability, and categorization in the eCommerce platformEnsure alignment of digital product presentation with their brand and technical accuracy.Manage digital assets including product photos, banners, and descriptions in coordination with internal teams.Cross-functional Collaboration
Liaise with Product, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to support promotions, product availability, and fulfillment.Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure DTC readiness and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with IT on integrations and technical improvements. Customer Experience & SupportDrive initiatives to improve post-purchase experience, reduce returns, and boost customer loyalty.Oversee review generation, FAQ resources, and content that supports product education and engagement.REQUIRED SKILLS, BEHAVIORS AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.3+ years of experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or related fields.Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and best practices, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and customer service.Experience developing and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, and search engine marketing.Strong analytical skills and experience working with e-commerce sales data.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with e-commerce platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, or Magento preferred.Benefits :
