Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Response and Support

Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland, a part of Christiana Care Health System is seeking an RN to work as an Emergency Response and Support Nurse. In this position, you will work in various units and learn valuable skills.

General Requirements :

• BSN required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Critical Care Trained ICU or ED RN
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS preferred. Must get within 6 months of hire.
• NRP preferred. Must get within 6 months of hire.
• Board certified RN - CCRN or CED preferred. Must get within 6 months of hire.

The selected RN will be a self motivated Registered Nurse who is willing to do a lot of different things throughout the shift. Person selected should be willing to complete RN III status within a year of starting. In this position you will work collaboratively with various units and interdisciplinary teams.

Primarily shift for this position will 3PM - 3AM with Weekend and Holidays per the guidelines of the department. Hours : This position is 24 hours per week.

Primary role with be to respond to RRT, code Blues, stroke alerts, code green alerts and other urgent situations.
