Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a day shift, 3x12 schedule with at least 1 year of MRI experience and certification in ARRT (MR) and BLS.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position based in an acute care hospital setting with approximately 200 staffed beds
  • Work in the MRI department using Siemens Espree scanners
  • Day shifts are Thursday through Saturday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Weekend work required on Saturdays
  • No on-call or floating between service lines or facilities
  • Epic is the preferred EMR system
  • Candidates must wear black, teal, or grey scrubs
  • All required modules must be completed pre-start and average 4 hours
  • Non-local candidates are prioritized according to the 60-mile radius rule
  • RTO must be submitted at application and approval depends on facility needs
  • Holiday RTO or more than 7 days off requires additional approval and could delay onboarding
  • Hurricane season responsibilities may be assigned, particularly June through November

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
  • Current ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with Siemens Espree equipment required
  • AHA certifications only accepted
  • License required if applicable
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Candidates who are local (within 60 miles) may be considered at a local rate
  • Previous permanent or PRN staff must have 1 year separation before returning as a traveler
  • SSN and driver’s license must be provided for consideration
