Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720 - $1840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – required before first shift

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – required before first shift

Minimum 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience as a Med / Surg RN

At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients

Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff

Promote patient and staff safety by following hospital policies and clinical safety protocols

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient rehabilitation and discharge planning

Initiate patient education and discharge planning from the time of admission

Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

Provide leadership, direction, and reassurance to staff, patients, and families, fostering a positive healthcare environment

Identify opportunities for professional growth and pursue continuing nursing education
