As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and serving as a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials to help to deter unauthorized access as applicable to the healthcare environment.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or concerns according to established procedures.

Collaborate with on-site staff and emergency personnel as needed to assist during incidents or drills within the healthcare location.

Remain visible and approachable to staff, visitors, and / or patients while performing patrols, offering assistance when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements :

Customer service experience is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
