Learn more about us here : The Opportunity As a Project Engineer at Lee Kimball, you will serve as the bridge between design, estimating, and construction. This role is focused on developing detailed scopes of work, pricing, and procurement strategies to ensure our projects are launched on time, on budget, and with clarity for both our team and our clients. What You'll Do Develop accurate scopes of work and detailed estimates using our CRM platform (CoConstruct), adapting templates based on architectural plans and team input. Coordinate site walkthroughs with trades, designers, and project managers to support precise pricing and scoping. Compile and distribute bid packages to subcontractors; collect, analyze, and enter trade bids, vendor pricing, and labor estimates into CoConstruct. Track material costs, fixture selections, and procurement lead times to maintain accurate and current project specifications. Maintain and update specifications and estimates throughout the design development process. Create and manage project schedules and procurement timelines. Assist with change orders, budget reviews, and cost-tracking for ongoing project refinement. Work closely with leadership to streamline and optimize company systems, ensuring repeatable, high-performance operational standards. What We're Looking For Proven experience in residential estimating, project engineering, or related construction roles. Proficiency with construction management software (CoConstruct experience highly valued). Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret drawings, models, and specifications. Excellent communication skills, able to coordinate effectively across clients, team members, and trade partners. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience). Why Join Lee Kimball?
