About this Role

The Lab Technicians is assigned to perform duties in either the QC Lab or the R&D Lab. The Lab Technician / QC is responsible for testing and inspecting raw materials and products at various stages of production to ensure that required specifications are met. The Lab Technician / R&D is responsible for assisting the Chemist / Senior Chemists in new product development, product maintenance, raw material evaluations, competitive evaluations, and general testing.

Responsibilities

Formulate samples using standard formulations

Evaluate computer readings and make necessary adjustments

Perform a variety of tests

Clean lab equipment and make sure there is no contamination from one lab run to another

Monitor lab runs for quality

Test lab samples

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree, Bachelors Preferred in Biology or Chemistry

0-2 years of work experience in a lab

Ablility to work in a hands on fast paced lab

Good with taking direction and working with a team on projects
