Associate Optometrist

Join Our Team as an Associate Optometrist! Cardillo Eye Care - Dr. Dennis A. Cardillo is a well-established private practice located in Haddon Heights, New Jersey, just minutes from Philadelphia. We are currently seeking an OD to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2-3 days per week with NO WEEKENDS required. Our practice offers a wide range of services, including routine and comprehensive medical eyecare utilizing state-of-the-art equipment such as Zeiss OCT, OPTOS Daytona, and more. With 40 years of experience, we have a strong patient base and a full-time Optician on staff to provide full optical and contact lens services. Daily Responsibilities : Conduct eye exams and pre-testing Perform visual field testing and autorefraction Determine refractive errors and prescribe corrective lenses Evaluate and manage ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and cataracts Provide patient education on eye health and vision care Required Skills : Doctor of Optometry degree Experience in eye care and contact lens fittings Proficiency in visual field testing and ocular disease management Knowledge of optometry practices and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Technical Skills : Experience with Optomap and Optical Coherence Tomography Familiarity with patient recall systems and vision therapy Knowledge of refractive surgery procedures such as LASIK Understanding of low vision and ophthalmology practices Salary and Benefits : Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $160,000 annually Vacation leave, holiday pay, and paid time off Yearly malpractice premiums covered 8-hour work days starting at $75-80 / hour, with increases based on experience and productivity Company Information : Dr. Dennis Cardillo operates in the Optometry Industry Employs 6-10 people with $0M-$1M in revenue Headquartered in Haddon Heights, New Jersey Cardillo Eye Care - Dr. Dennis A.
