About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Room Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of two years of emergency department experience

License : RN License (New York License only)

Certifications :

• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS (preferred)

Must-Have : Previous travel emergency room experience, telemetry experience required

Description :

This is a fast-paced adult emergency department.

The facility manages more than 100,000 visits a year.

It is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country.

Responsible for treating a diverse patient population.

Will assist with boarder patients.

The emergency department cannot support first-time travelers.

Floating, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty may be required.

Charge duties may be necessary based on unit needs.

This position requires flexibility with scheduling.
