ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (ER RN) Location : Charlottesville, VA 22908 (Virginia healthcare jobs) Facility : Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department Duration : 13 weeks Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 or 48 (based on preference and scheduling) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840 Patient Ratios : 4-5 patients per nurse Weekend Coverage : Required Orientation : 24 hours Time Off : Up to 40 hours pre-approved per contract ER Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (ER RN experience required) At least 1 year in a Level I trauma facility OR 2 years in a Level II trauma facility Pediatric patient care experience (not limited to pediatric ER) Active Registered Nurse license (VA RN license accepted as pending, must be active before start date) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (TNCC can be pending, must be obtained before start) Experience with Epic charting system BSN preferred Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Professional references required ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization for trauma, stroke, cardiac, and other emergency conditions Care for diverse patient populations : adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy Document and chart patient care using Epic EMR Float within scope of practice as needed throughout the facility Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas RTO not available) Complete orientation and required training modules Take the next step in your nursing career with this high-impact ER RN travel job in Charlottesville, VA.
