Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant PRN

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of an occupational therapist to help individuals develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

• Responsibilities
• Implementing care plans as directed by the occupational therapist - Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence - Documenting patient progress and reporting to the supervising occupational therapist - Providing patient-centered care in various settings such as inpatient, acute care, home health, and pediatric environments - Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Utilizing medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to support treatment plans
• Requirements
• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program - Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Experience working with geriatric and pediatric populations is preferred - Knowledge of care plans and experience in implementing them effectively - Ability to provide compassionate patient care in diverse settings including inpatient and home health environments
