• Urgent need for Full-time DAY nurse. Monday - Thursday 7 am - 7 pm (48 hours). MUST be available to work all shifts. Paraplegic patient requiring I&O caths and assistance with ADLs. Whitehaven area.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized care to patients in their homes. This role is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of our medically fragile pediatric population. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, along with specialized skills that enhance patient care.

Duties

As a Private Duty Nurse, your responsibilities will include :

Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, tailored to individual needs as outlined in the current plan of care.

Administering and documenting medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.

Providing education on health management to patients and families.

Performing airway management, gtube feedings, seizure precautions, constant supervision, assistance with ADLs, and other interventions as necessary.

Experience

Candidates should have :

A valid nursing license in good standing.

Valid CPR certification.

Proven experience in home care settings or private duty nursing (preferred).

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay : $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
