Job Description : We are Urgently seeking a skilled Perfusionist to support cardiac surgical services at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Candidate must be experienced operating cardiopulmonary bypass and related extracorporeal devices in a high-acuity OR environment. Day-shift schedule (day 5x8; unit hours indicate coverage between 06 : 00–19 : 00). Epic charting experience is required. Georgia license is a hard requirement for this role. Responsibilities : Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and related equipment (heart-lung machine) during cardiac procedures. Initiate / monitor ECMO and other extracorporeal circulatory support as required by clinical team. Monitor patient physiology (oxygenation, acid-base, electrolytes, temperature) and make intraoperative adjustments per protocol. Prime, maintain, and troubleshoot circuits; administer blood products and perfusion medications as ordered. Document perfusion records accurately in Epic and communicate status / changes to surgeon, anesthesiologist and OR team. Perform equipment checks, instrument / component maintenance and ensure adherence to safety / sterility standards. Participate in pre-op briefings and post-op debriefs; assist with rapid mobilization in emergent cases. Requirements : Minimum 1 year of experience. BLS (AHA only) State License of GA.
