Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Job Description :

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of our residents by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Duties :

Provide personal care assistance, e.g. bathe residents, comb hair, trim nails, shave, clean teeth, change clothes, etc.; provide water or ice; serve food trays and snacks; feed patients unable to feed themselves; provide assistance with ambulation; report changes in residents conditions.

Conduct bed checks, turn residents to prevent bed sores or increase comfort; change wet and soiled linen.

Answer call bells; assists residents in and out of bed, into chairs, wheelchairs, transport patients to other areas e.g. dining room, beauty shop.

Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output; check and report bowel movements.

Receive report on previous shift; review records, prepare update on activities at close of shift; attend in-service training sessions.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Requirements :

Current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Pennysylvania

Long term care experience preferred
