We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Area Sales Coordinator.
Position Summary :
The Area Sales Coordinator provides vital administrative and sales support to the Area Director of Sales and sales teams across multiple hotel properties. This role assists with coordinating sales activities, preparing reports and presentations, managing group and event leads, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, hotels, and the corporate office. The Area Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the achievement of sales goals and delivering exceptional client service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the Area Director of Sales and property-level sales teams.
- Assist in managing and responding to group and transient leads, RFPs, and inquiries across multiple hotels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce).
- Coordinate and prepare contracts, proposals, presentations, and client correspondence.
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and performance dashboards.
- Support the organization of client site visits, FAM trips, and sales events across properties.
- Track marketing initiatives, promotions, and client engagement activities.
- Coordinate internal communication among hotels regarding group bookings, sales updates, and lead distribution.
- Maintain sales calendars, appointment schedules, and follow-ups for the area sales team.
- Assist with planning and executing local sales blitzes, trade shows, and community networking events.
What are the requirements for this position?
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.1–2 years of experience in sales support, hotel sales, or administrative coordination.Familiarity with hotel systems such as Delphi, Opera, or similar CRM tools is a plus.Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multi-property environment.Professional, team-oriented attitude with a client-focused approach.You have a valid driver's license.Key Competencies :

Pay Scale : $19.40 - $24.70 / hour
