We range from 6-years of age to 18-years of age. Our patients have an average length of stay ranging from five to seven days. Patients are cared for by strong inter-disciplinary teams that include program therapists, registered nurses, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, music therapist, art therapist, child life specialist, unit operations coordinator and mental health specialists. We rely on teamwork, with open and respectful communication, and promote an environment that encourages learning and professional growth. Our team is committed to providing excellent care to our patients and families.\n\nPosition Summary\n\nCoordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members.\n\nTHIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION.\n\nEducation Requirements : \n

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.\n
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.\n
• Current BLS certification.\n\nOne (1) year experience (within the last 2 years) working with specialized patient population\n(e.g. Inpatient Mental Health)
• .\nAn informational meeting with the Patient Care Manager is required prior to awarding the position.\n
• Based upon the unit in which you are applying, additional certification(s) may be required. Department specific required qualifications need to be obtained within 6 months of employment.\n\nThe posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.\n\nIn addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
