About The Position
Job Title : Echo Tech
Profession : Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty : Cardiac Sonographer
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day
Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 30 - 16 : 00)
Experience : Minimum 3 years required
License : Valid state license preferred
Certifications : BLS and RDCS - Adults required. RDCS-Peds preferred.
Must-Have :
- Experience in inpatient and ER settings required.
- Experience with portables and Syngo required.
- IV starts, PACS, and biopsies preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos, RIT / RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echos.
- Familiarity with Siemens and Philips equipment preferred.
Description :
The position is for an Echo Tech working in a fast-paced environment.
The department performs 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes per day.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
First-time travelers will not be accepted.
Weekend work may be required depending on departmental needs.
There are no on-call requirements for this position.
Flexibility to float within the hospital as needed is expected.
Candidates should be comfortable with a variety of echo procedures, including TTE, TEE, and stress echoes.
Preferred experience includes working in PICU, Neonate, and NICU settings.
Candidates should have experience with general imaging and outpatient processes.
This role may involve various of patient demographics, primarily adults and geriatrics.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team are essential.
Candidates must provide proof of relevant certifications and licenses upon application.
