Work where you matter.\nA Brief Overview The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he / she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members.\nWhat you will do\n
  • Collects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.\n
  • Participates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered health care plan.\n
  • Implements nursing interventions within a patient-centered health care plan.\n
  • Assists in the evaluation of responses to interventions.\n
  • Provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.\n
  • Advocates for the best interest of the patient.\n
  • Communicates and collaborates with patients and members of the health care team.\n
  • Assists with health counseling and teaching.\n
  • Delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.\nEssential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
