Job Title : School Psychologist Profession : School Psych Specialty : Special Education Duration : 36 weeks Shift : 08 : 30 - 15 : 15 Hours per Shift : 6.75 Experience : Minimum experience required License : PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist endorsement Certifications : Masters Degree and / or Specialist Degree in School Psychology Must-Have : Bilingual - Spanish / English (written / verbal) preferred Description : Provide support for instruction and technical assistance with progress monitoring and data analysis consultation. Involvement in intervention and evaluation processes is essential. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to find effective solutions to academic and behavior problems. Participate in service team meetings. Engage in the case study process. Observe students in the instructional environment to identify intervention strategies and barriers to interventions. Collect data pertinent to initial eligibility and re-evaluations. Document evaluation results appropriately. Evaluate a student's cognitive functioning when necessary. Participate in the development of functional behavioral analysis and the implementation of behavior plans. Serve as Local Educational Agency (LEA) for annual reviews, re-evaluations, and domain meetings. Collaborate with the service team to schedule meetings. Serve as the LEA in functional behavioral assessment and behavior intervention plan development and update meetings.
