Agile Management Office : Project Manager
Join Aprio's Agile Management Office team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Agile projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
Position Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning and execution of Agile projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and establish project governance structures.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing guidance, coaching, and support to Agile teams.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior leadership and external clients.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to optimize project delivery processes.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to Agile project management.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment.Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Smartsheet).PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are desirable but not required.Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones is a plus.$115,000 - $125,000 a year
