ER Nurse Job Details Location : Mountain Home, Idaho (Zip : 83647) – Idaho nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Critical Access Hospital, Emergency Department Contract Duration : 13-week travel nurse assignment (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,780 - $1,910 Unit Details : 10 beds, 2 trauma bays Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient EMR Dress Code : Any color scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred) Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Ability to triage patients and manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 4 Experience caring for pediatric and adult populations Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from facility Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric and adult patients Perform triage and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced ER environment Administer ER medications and drips, including procedural sedation Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and other healthcare professionals Stabilize and prepare patients for transfer in cases of STEMI, stroke, and trauma Document and track patient care using Epic EMR Participate in department orientation and ongoing clinical training Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, working with sitters and security as needed Discover the benefits of travel nursing jobs in Idaho and enjoy Mountain Home's small-town charm and outdoor adventures.
