Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns within the educational environment. Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and / or emergency personnel as required. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as needed. Document all security-related incidents and maintain detailed logs according to Allied Universal procedures. Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted behavior and to provide assistance when requested. Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Professional - Education Patrol
As a Security Professional - Education Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a positive campus environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to situations with professionalism and care.
