Job Overview :
The Youth Therapist provides therapeutic services to youth ages 818 and their families through individual, group, and family counseling. They conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective, culturally competent care. The role also involves supporting program activities, engaging communities in treatment initiatives, and pursuing ongoing professional development through supervision.
Program Info
The Youth Partial Care program provides intensive treatment for youth experiencing significant emotional or behavioral health concerns.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide professional care for youth ages 8-18 and their families
Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
Assist with group activities, transportation and administrative tasks
Participate in collaboration with the treatment team
Provide culturally competent service delivery
Participate in innovative initiatives designed to engage communities in care and treatment
Uses supervision effectively to explore professional development and training needs.
Requirements :
Master's degree in social work, clinical counseling, psychology or related field plus a minimum of one year of experience in the provision of youth mental health services
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record
Professionalism and a commitment to excellence in care
Willingness to work evening hours.
Additional Information :
Base Pay : $50,000 / annual
Bilingual Rate : An additional $3,120 / annual rate added to the base pay if Spanish proficient.
Schedule : 12 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 PM Mon-Thurs; flexible on Friday
Sign-on Bonus : $1000 Sign-on Bonus
