Pay Information

$420 to $430 per hour

About The Position

A leading medical center in Eastern Iowa is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide full-time, ongoing locum coverage . This is a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent compensation, a predictable weekday schedule, and travel / lodging fully covered.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage 20–25 outpatient patients per day , including those on treatment, follow-ups, and consults.

Treat adult patients (Level II Trauma Center).

Perform and supervise the following procedures :

Conventional Radiotherapy

3D Radiotherapy

IMRT, IGRT, and 3D-CRT

SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)

SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery)

Photon Beam and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Position Details :

Full-time coverage – 4 weeks per month

No inpatient rounding or call required (0–1 inpatient cases on average)

Work independently – only one Radiation Oncologist on site

Credentialing : Temp privileges available (30–60 days)

Job Requirements

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology – Required

Active Iowa License or IMLC – Required

COVID-19 vaccination – Required

Clean background and malpractice – Required

Experience with Aria EMR – Highly Preferred

Local or within driving distance – Preferred

Benefits

Hourly : Up to $430 / hr
