Job descriptionBachelor’s or Associate’s degree plus three years of related human service experience High School diploma plus six years of related human service experience Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Must pass a MN Department of Human Services background check. Are you dependable, enjoy working with others, and have a great sense of humor? MRCI is seeking a CDS Program Specialist – Intakes to join our Client Directed Services (CDS) team in Mankato, MN. This full-time position offers daytime hours, full benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement—all while making a meaningful impact in your community.
What You’ll Do :
- Serve as the first point of contact for client intakes and guide them through the entire intake process.
- Promote and explain CDS programs to clients, families, representatives, and county personnel.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollment documents and maintain compliance with program regulations.
- Collaborate with counties, DHS, and other providers to develop and implement CDS best practices.
- Assist with payroll, vendor payments, reimbursements, and budget tracking.
- Support new employees with employment packets and status changes.
- Stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes affecting CDS programs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support.
