The Supply Planner Lead will perform a variety of tasks with a focus on purchased material in support of program and factory build plans. The candidate needs to be energetic, willing to learn, able to work independently and have the ability and desire to be a change agent. The candidate also must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to learn logistics / transportation in supporting factory needs. The associated tasks listed below are necessary to prevent a work stoppage or a slip in schedule, both of which would have a significant impact on the factory and / or program's cost and schedule requirements.

What You Will Do

Management of program supply parts to support multiple factories and possible plant sites.

Manage a team consisting of multiple team members that support multiple factories and plant sites.

Be responsible for managing team headcounts to appropriate accounting structure.

Review, analyze and release purchase requisitions to Supply Chain in PRISM per MRP, including level loading were applicable.

Support End Item by escalating constraints through Tiered accountability process to Senior Cross functional leadership.

Evaluate material availability, identifying potential gaps and proactively working supplied material risk mitigation plans.

Facilitate cross functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and coordinate some Logistics.

Participates and lead continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.

Experience with Production and / or and Planning Control, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Property Management, and or Delivery Administration.

Supervisory or managerial experience.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management.

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Experience with Rapid Response.

Experience working with MS Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated experience interfacing, collaborating, and communicating with all levels of an organization, as well as with a large external customer base, to accomplish tasks.

Active DOD Security Clearance.

Critical thinking and data analysis skills to ensure detailed status provided to the Program, Operations and Supply Chain teams.

Ability to contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Detail oriented.

Has good time management skills and knows how to stay organized.

Strong Prism knowledge is desired.
