Job description

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Duties :

  • Perform all MRI procedures using GE MRI equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Position patients, select technical factors, and tailor exams to patient condition and clinical indication.
  • Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media as required.
  • Assess and recognize normal and abnormal anatomy / pathology; review exams with Radiologist as needed.
  • Perform point-of-care testing and maintain QA on related equipment.
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and function effectively under stress.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Experience : MRI experience required; must be able to work independently.
  • Education : Graduate of accredited MRI program or equivalent.
  • Certifications : ARRT(MR) required; BLS required.
  • Equipment : GE MRI experience required.
  • Skills : Venipuncture, point-of-care testing, QA procedures, anatomy / pathology assessment.
