MNS Engineers is hiring a Technical Editor to assist in preparing client deliverables for a wide range of Planning and Environmental Compliance documents. You will be responsible for the document editorial review, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, voice, and clarity in client deliverables.?Additionally, you will be responsible for document formatting. This position is remote flexible, with projects assigned on an as needed basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Edit basic to highly complex technical documents, both draft and final versions.
  • Review documents for spelling, typographical, and grammatical errors
  • Adhere to established style guides
  • Produce high-quality work within deadlines
  • Prioritize work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with authors to address copyright concerns and inconsistencies
  • Provide feedback to improve clarity and enhance understanding
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Technical Writing, Technical Communication, Communications, Science or Engineering.?
  • 3+ years of technical editing experience in either the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or Planning Industries
  • Familiarity with engineering industry

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interacts well with other staff?
