Technical Business Analyst

The Opportunity:

Bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution within Agile delivery teams. Translate complex mission needs into actionable, testable requirements and ensure clarity and alignment among stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including product owners, architects, and developers, to manage the backlog and deliver successful sprints. Drive alignment between strategic business goals and system implementation, and foster cohesion between vision, design, and execution.

You Have:

• Experience translating business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements suitable for Agile teams
• Experience working with Agile management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Agile delivery concepts, including sprints, backlogs, and iterative development
• Ability to analyze processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify gaps and dependencies
• Ability to elicit, document, and refine business and technical requirements through stakeholder discussions and working sessions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Associate’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience stepping in to facilitate Agile ceremonies when the Scrum Master is unavailable
• Experience supporting testing activities or reviewing test cases for requirement alignment
• Knowledge of enterprise or platform-based systems and shared services
• Ability to lead or co-lead requirements elicitation workshops with business and technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $43,700.00 to $89,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
