Salary :
Position : Full-time hourly position covered under a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) at Fort Bragg, NC.
Job Description :
- Under minimal supervision, performs scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS, STE Devices, and GFP, following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available.
- Maintain TADSS and GFP in FMC condition to meet CMT and CPF requirements for each device and location.
- Maintain items under warranty in accordance with the terms of the warranty and identified by part number, serial number, and location in the ISTS.
- Capture Unique Item Information (UII) or other 2-Dimensional (2D) standard barcode information at the time and location of work performance.
- Configure, initialize, and perform a function check of TADSS, ensure component systems are interoperating in accordance with technical specifications, and verify the function and operation of a device via TADSS operator and maintenance technical manuals.
- Conduct System Software Maintenance and Sustaintment (SSMS), including installing patches in accordance with Government-approved baseline and TMs; maintain executable or reloadable software media in an operable condition; and duplicate media for replacement or backup and distribute to the appropriate location.
- Distribute and install approved software block update media in accordance with instructions and forward Software Trouble Reports to the appropriate GR.
- Track commercial software licenses as identified in the TO; track software and hardware baseline of impacted data processing systems; and revert to previous functional software baseline if software updates do not function.
- Capture TADSS user feedback and participate in the coordination and management of user interviews, audits, and surveys; all feedback shall be made available in the ISTS.

Degree(s) / Years of Experience :
(2 +BA / BS or 1+MA / MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree).
Required Skills :
Must possess and maintain a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, and feel.Must be able to read, write, speak, hear, and understand English.Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.Work is subject to high noise levels and vibration.Work is performed in an environment with high dust, pollen, and wind.Requires physical presence around high voltage, machinery, and unprotected heights.Work may require protective clothing and equipment for feet, hands, head, eyes, and ears.Ability to lift and carry items not to exceed 50 lbs.Physical dexterity to push / pull, climb / balance, bend / stoop, twist / turn, kneel / crouch, crawl, reach overhead, grasp, use feet for foot controls.Ability to stand unaided for eight (8) hours or more.Valid State Drivers License and retain Post Driving Privileges.Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC).Must be able to travel up to 50%.Understanding of working on military ranges.Able and willing to work in austere environments.Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines while adhering to all applicable safety guidelines and installation Standardized Operating Procedures.Experience working with military units.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.Ability to exercise good judgment and insight, to understand the overall effect of decisions.Ability to prioritize responsibilities to handle a demanding workload.Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels.Clearance Requirement : Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
