Role Summary

Rivian Service Technical Training is seeking a passionate and driven Service Training Manager to lead our team of Technical Training Instructors. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our Service Technicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will be a champion for continuous learning, a skilled communicator, and a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working with the Sr. Manager of Technical Training, you'll execute on identified strategic priorities and work to stay ahead of the training needs in the field.

This is a role that requires reporting in person to a Rivian Service location.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Technical Training Instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality training for technical roles in the Service organization.
• Partner closely with instructors to ensure continuous personal and professional growth.
• Develop team goals and deliverables each quarter and drive the team to deliver on those objectives.
• Work with L&D as well as cross-functional teams to define training needs; ensure ongoing alignment with leadership and operationalize training.
• Lead presentations as needed to provide updates to various audiences.
• Coach the training team on best practices for adult learning and facilitation.
• Observe, mentor, and coach instructors conducting training and assess according to pre-defined KPIs.
• Stay current with the latest Rivian technical product information.
