Telemetry Unit - Registered Nurse

Shift : 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements :

75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

BJC policy : Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO / IL / Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

On call : Note required

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility need Yes, 2 South / MS Tele / 3 South / 1C- float within service line, within scope.

Block Schedules : No

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week for 3-12s and 48 hours per week for 4-12s

Special Requirements : assist bedside procedures : line insertion, thoracentesis, cardiac drip required

Scrub Color : Navy

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Holiday Policy : Any holiday time off is at the discretion of the Unit Manager and must be approved at the time of submittal.

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
