Salary : $90-$120K / yr.

Company : IPS Group, Inc. is a design, engineering and manufacturing company focused on low power wireless telecommunications and parking technologies. IPS manufactures its products locally and has been delivering world-class solutions to the telecommunications and parking industries for over 25 years. The company is best known for their patented credit card enabled, solar powered single-space parking meter and web-based management system.

Duties and Responsibilities

IPS is recruiting for a well-rounded Electrical Engineer to design PCBAs using Altium Designer for IPS products. Must be skilled in schematic and PCBA design, component selection, GMP, root cause analysis, product support, New Item Add, New Product Introduction and coding.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in the end-to-end engineering process.

Qualification / Skills

• Able to work independently or collaboratively and meet schedules efficiently.
• Excellent communications : oral written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Be a team player and participate in mutual teaching and learning across the organization.
• Hands on manufacturing experience preferred
• Testing / Troubleshooting with varoius test gear such as : ocilliscopes, analyzers and meters to support board level analysis of failed units
• Must be able to lead, manage or participate in cross discipline projects.
• Define and document manufacturing and rework instructions.
• Validate new designs and release to mass production.
• Communicate with engineers, production, repairs, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
