Valley Manor Care Center is   part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare subsidiary of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Hourly Pay : $29.00 - $35.25 per hour based on previous working experience. Plus earn $2.25 per hour evening and night shift differential!

Schedules offered : PART TIME SHIFTS, days will vary, every other weekend required. The following shift times are available :

• 6am-2pm
• 2-10pm
• 10pm - 6am

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) shall perform in accordance with state and local laws and within the guidelines of his / her professional organization. All functions shall be performed in accordance with the established policies and practices of the particular institution in which the LPN is performing his / her duties. The LPN is qualified by education, training, and experience and demonstrated abilities to give nursing care under the direction of a RN and to have the knowledge of the principles of psychological, biological and social sciences.

Required Qualifications :

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Role models positive communication skills with NA / RS, TMA’s (if applicable), interdisciplinary team, customers, residents and families.

Maintains competence in all required skills within the facility.

Maintains all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner according to policies and procedures of the facility, including documentation of medications, treatments, restraints, psychotropic medications and skin condition.

Attend nurses meetings as scheduled.

Serve on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process.
