We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sommelier | Floor Manager to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines your expertise in wine and beverage service with your leadership skills in managing the dining room experience. You will play a key role in enhancing our guests' dining experiences while ensuring that our service standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities :Sommelier Duties :Manage the wine program, including selection, purchasing, and inventory management.Develop and maintain a diverse and exciting wine list that complements the menu.Conduct regular tastings to curate new wine selections and facilitate staff training.Provide exceptional wine service, including recommendations and pairing suggestions to guests.Educate staff on wine knowledge, service techniques, and proper wine storage.Assist in organizing wine events, tastings, and pairing dinners.Floor Manager Duties :Oversee the daily operations of the dining room to ensure exceptional guest experience.Lead, train, and manage front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.Monitor table settings, guest interactions, and overall dining room ambiance to meet company standards.Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication between front and back of house.Qualifications :Previous experience as a Sommelier and / or Floor Manager in a fine dining restaurant or similar environment.Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverage pairings; certification in wine or sommelier training preferred.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Benefits :Competitive salary, plus 401k & health insurance options.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Employee discounts on food.We are excited to welcome a talented Sommelier | Floor Manager who shares our passion for exceptional dining experiences.
