Supervisor-HIM & Identity Applications

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Supervisor-HIM & Identity Applications to join our team. The SupervisorHIM & Identity Applications provides leadership and oversight for the Epic Health Information Management (HIM) and Identity applications. This role supervises a team of application analysts who design, configure, implement, and support workflows related to patient identity integrity and HIM operations. The Supervisor-Epic HIM & Identity ensures system stability, data accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with organizational priorities while fostering a collaborative and service-oriented team culture.

Position Specifics :

  • Department : IT
  • Core Function : Corporate Services
  • Schedule : Full Time, 40 hrs / wk, on-call rotation
  • Location : 100% remote, accepting applicants that can work remotely and live in AZ, FL, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, SC, TN, TX, OH, WI, or WY.
  • Compensation that aligns with your experience

Internet Speed Requirements :

  • Download speeds must be at least 20 Mb or higher. (100 Mb or higher is preferred.)
  • Upload speeds must be at least 6 Mb or higher. (10 Mb or higher is preferred.)
  • Latency / Ping must be under 100 ms. (Under 60 ms is preferred.)

    • Education Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree in Clinical, Informatics, Computer Science, Business or related field is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical, hospital / ambulatory business office environment or related experience may be accepted in lieu of an Associate's degree.

    • Experience Qualifications :

  • 5 years of Epic Application Analyst or related experience is required. (This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if colleague does not meet the Associate's degree requirement.)
  • 1 year of progressively more responsible leadership experience is required.

    • Certifications, Licenses and Registrations :

  • Epic certification or accreditation in HIM or Identity is required or must be obtained within six (6) months.
