Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Elizabethtown, Kentucky (42701) – Kentucky healthcare job Unit : 4th Floor Telemetry (32 beds, 26 rooms) Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : December 15, 2025 – End : March 16, 2026) Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950 - $2000 Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract (On-Site) Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Orientation : 12 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state – Kentucky nursing license accepted BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS certifications required Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system Ability to provide two professional references COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 4-6 and high acuity patients preferred Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry unit Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize arrhythmias, and respond to rapid response / code situations Manage oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral IV line care Administer cardiac drips (no titration), insulin protocols, and blood products Document patient care using EPIC EHR system Implement infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and more Float to other nursing units as needed to support hospital staffing Participate in bedside procedures, peritoneal dialysis, and care for patients with high acuity needs Experience the charm of Elizabethtown while making a difference in patient care.
