Hours : Full-time

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic / Welder to join our team in Danville, IL. This role involves performing railcar repairs while ensuring compliance with FRA and AAR interchange rules . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, welding experience, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities :

• Perform railcar repairs in compliance with FRA and AAR interchange rules
• Conduct pre- and post-inspections of assigned railcars
• Follow all safety protocols , including OSHA regulations and in-house procedures
• Ensure adherence to the company's quality program by following internal processes and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA, and environmental standards
