Job descriptionDrive architectural discussions and decisions to ensure the 3D platform is scalable, performant, and maintainable Collaboratively architect and build robust, scalable, and maintainable 3D components and systems for the core application Collaborate with fellow senior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and shared growth Work with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate complex requirements into high-performance 3D visualizations Leverage emerging technologies to enhance the 3D engine architecture and visualization capabilities Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end and 3D development Demonstrated mastery of Three.js (or Babylon.js) and the modern 3D web ecosystem Extensive experience in designing and implementing software architecture for large-scale, interactive front-end applications Expert-level proficiency in modern TypeScript and Angular Strong foundation in web technologies, including WebGL / WebGPU Experience with performance optimization techniques Familiarity with 3D data formats and processing pipelines, such as point clouds, 3D Tiles, and Gaussian Splats Hands-on experience developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies using frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
