Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Python, AWS, JavaScript)

As a leader, you will be pivotal in transforming our technological landscape and enhancing customer experiences.

Your Role Includes :

Overseeing a range of technology projects while leading a talented team of developers who specialize in distributed microservices and comprehensive full stack systems, aimed at addressing regulatory demands.

Staying ahead of technology trends and sharing your insights with the engineering community, while mentoring fellow engineers through hands-on leadership.

Collaborating closely with product managers to create innovative cloud-based solutions that empower millions of customers in their financial journeys.

Utilizing programming languages and tools such as JavaScript, Java, HTML / CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration solutions like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS services.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

A minimum of 4 years of solid software engineering experience (internships not considered).

At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

7+ years of experience in one or more of the following : JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.

3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services.

4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

1+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.

This position is based in McLean, VA; salaries range from $193,400 - $220,700, and from $175,800 - $200,700 for roles in Plano, TX and Richmond, VA. Compensation is subject to location and includes performance-based incentives.
