The Outreach Manager is responsible for public engagement activities, including but not limited to assistance with events, electronic communications, volunteer and stakeholder management, content development & marketing, and website management.
Mission Righteous Roots is a faith-based nonprofit crisis resource center committed to providing free social services to any individual or family within our service area who is dealing with trauma, crisis, or hardship as a result of past or present abuse of any type.
Compensation :
$39,000 - $41,500 yearly
Responsibilities :
Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations
- Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance brand identity, broaden awareness of the program, and increase visibility across key stakeholder audiences
- Write, update, edit, and oversee production and design of printed materials, including Thank Youcards, Newsletters, and email communications with the public, community, donors, and stakeholders
- Serve as secondary media contact; Develop and implement PR strategies, including media outreach, fielding media inquiries, and creating and maintaining media lists
- Ensure proper and consistent use of naming conventions, brand attributes, and logo
- Prepare photography and other media for publication and maintain a digital media library
- Develop and implement a contact schedule for donors, volunteers, staff, and BOD
- Schedule, attend, and distribute material at outreach events
Social Media, Website, and E-Marketing
Work with staff and contractors to develop and implement social networking strategies, develop content, monitor and respond to inquiriesWrite testimonials for the website and social mediaOversee and manage website, including : maintain integrity of website content and structure; monitor and report on key metrics from Google Analytics; and utilize Search Engine OptimizationManage and execute email communications program, including quarterly e-newsletters, campaign messages, and fundraising e-appealsVolunteer Management
Process volunteer applications and manage the volunteer databaseRecruit, schedule, train, and manage all volunteersPrepare and track volunteer materialsEnsure funds and reports are submitted in a timely mannerOther
Maintain the Contact Management databaseManage merchandise program, including design, orders, promotion, and inventoryAttend and assist with fundraising, informational, and outreach eventsContribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of the office interior and exteriorPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedParticipate in staff meetings, client staffings, and attend training as requiredQualifications :
Bachelor's degree; Proven experience in a relevant positionBilingual English / Spanish preferredTech savvy; proficient in MS Office, Google platforms, Adobe Creative SuiteAdvanced knowledge of social media, experience with graphic design, and website managementSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal oversightExcellent time-management and organizational skillsOutstanding verbal / written communication skills; MUST have strong spelling and grammar skillsDetail-oriented and efficientAgree and adhere to our organization’s Statement of FaithAbout Company
Mission Righteous Roots (MRR) is a faith-based 501(c)3 Crisis Resource Center.
We provide free & confidential crisis intervention, assessments, referrals, crisis prevention, & more. We work directly with victims of crime and individuals dealing with trauma as a result of past or present abuse of any type.
