Must Have Technical / Functional Skills An SAP FICO Lead is responsible for leading SAP Finance, OneSource (TAX) and Controlling module implementations and optimizations, involving requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and end-user training. Key duties include analyzing business processes, developing functional specifications for system changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting financial close activities, and mentoring junior consultants to ensure successful and compliant SAP solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI, OneSource and CO modules, including configuration and best practices.
 - Configuration knowledge in SAP FI / CO and Tax
 - Understanding of tax processes as it relates to corporate accounting and tax reporting.
 - Understanding of accounting processes as it relates to corporate accounting, treasury and reporting.
 - Good understanding of controlling and product costing and manufacturing finance.
 - Troubleshooting experience and ability to provide / propose wholistic solutions
 - Experience with S / 4HANA Finance implementation and configuration (e.g., GL, AP, AR, CO-PA) is often preferred.
 - Drive initiatives for system optimization and process efficiency within the MM module Roles & Responsibilities
 - Gather and analyze detailed business requirements from finance and accounting teams to translate them into effective SAP FICO solutions.
 - Design and configure core FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM), to align with business processes and goals.
 - Lead end-to-end project phases from blueprinting to deployment, manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with best practices.
 - Develop and execute testing plans, including Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and conduct end-user training to ensure proper adoption of the SAP solutions.
 - Prepare detailed functional specifications for new reports, enhancements, and interfaces, and create comprehensive documentation for processes and procedures.
 - Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot complex system issues, and support critical financial activities like month-end and year-end closing.
 - Work closely with finance, accounting, and other cross-functional teams (e.g., MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions.
 - Mentor and guide junior team members, provide knowledge transfer, and contribute to internal team capability building and proposal development.
 - Keep updated with new SAP releases, patches, and upgrades to enhance system functionality and performance.
 
Salary Range : $100,000 - $130,000 a Year
